    This is a 1999 Gene Doll called "Simply Gene". She is NEW in the original box, never removed. "Simply Gene" is wearing a two piece yellow sun suit, designed by Joan Greene, based on a real bathing suit from Valentino's. It is the quintessential sort of late 40's and early 50's bathing suit. It was risque at the time to show a bit of midriff. She comes with a wrist tag, doll stand, COA, matching hat box and booklet. Gene is also wearing a pair of white pearl earrings and matching yellow high heels. There is also a Hair Style Chart for different styles you can do with her hair.
