Antique Victorian dachshund footstool

Description

This is an antique Victorian footstool. Underneath it originally had a needlepoint covering.I do not see any markings on the wood frame to determine the manufacturer. However it is a beautiful piece. The top has been covered by me with dachshund flannel material. It helped my dachshund get from the floor to the couch which was very useful although not it’s only use. It measures 19 inches wide at its widest point by 11 inches wide. The actual footing area measures 14“ x 11“. It also measures about 13 inches high. I welcome any questions you may have.
